Bio:
Anna has been involved with ESG-issues for almost 10 years now. She is
currently employed by a large Finnish pension insurance company where she
works as an ESG Specialist within the investment department. In 2004 Hanken
(the Swedish School of Economics in Helsinki) accepted her master’s thesis
titled “Non-financial Aspects of Investment Decision Making”. In her thesis
she set out to explore whether or not an institutional investor can have
non-financial guidelines in its overall investment guidelines. Her findings
are still used today by Ilmarinen Mutual Pension Insurance Company.
Interests:
Since I work for an institutional investor I am interested in the
integration of ESG issues with conventional research and the implementation
of non-financial guidelines
