BIO:
Based in Hong Kong, Dave is a Sustainable and Responsible Investment (SRI) Analyst with Responsible Research, an independent provider of sector and thematic Asian Environment, Social and Governance research targeted at global institutional investors. He has been focused on water in Asia, in general, and water in China, specifically. Before joining Responsible Research, Dave interned with the Association for Sustainable and Responsible Investment in Asia (ASrIA), while pursuing a MBA at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. He holds a MBA (concentration in Financial Services) from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and a MS in Justice, Law & Society from American University in Washington, DC.
Interests:
ESG valuation across asset classes to align more closely a firm’s market value and ‘intrinsic’ value;
ESG integration and decision-making of venture and early capitalists (as well as pre-IPO and private firms);
Organizational development of wealth managers to bolster consideration of extra-financial issues in the investment decision-making process; and
Not making sustainable and responsible investing “mainstream” but making the mainstream more responsible and sustainable.
