Bio:
Laureen Tessier is a corporate governance analyst at Proxinvest in Paris, an independent consulting firm advising institutional shareholders on voting and corporate governance. Prior to joining Proxinvest, she worked at PIRC in London where she advised shareholders on ESG issues at UK listed companies. Previously, Laureen also worked for Business in the Community as a volunteer and for The Fairtrade Foundation. She holds a Master of International Relations from Macquarie University in Australia and a Bachelor of Sociology from Rennes II University in France.
Interest:
I am joining the NSFM in order to share knowledge with professionals from various countries on how to reform the financial markets. I feel very strongly about changes needed in terms of companies’ governance practices and executive remuneration. More generally, I am interested in the subject of political economy.
