Bio:
Robert Klijn is Account Manager at Cordares Asset Management (part of APG Group). He is supporting the board of directors and investment committees of pension funds. At the moment he is in the middle of discussions about investment results and future asset allocation.
In his previous role as Specialist Sales Oil & Gas, Utilities and SRI & CG at ING Equity Markets he supported fund managers and research analysts of equities teams at institutional investors. He stimulated analysts to write long-term thematic research, organised (SRI) road shows for companies, company visits and wrote a weekly ESG Newsletter.
Interests:
I am interested to develop a clearer understanding of the possibilities for pension funds to maintain a solid structure if the current credit crisis is worsening. What are the opportunities to diversify risks and improve investment results in a sustainable manner? How could pension funds co-operate with the regulatory authorities in a constructive and pro-active way?
