Ann Byrne, CEO of the Australian Council of Superannuation Investors, has been elected to the United Nations Principle for Responsible Investment’s Advisory Council.  The Advisory Council serves as UNPRI’s strategic governance body.

Frank Curtiss, Head of Corporate Governance at Railpen Investments, has been named UK Vice President and Treasurer of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators.

Catherine Howarth, CEO of FairPensions in London, and Steve Waygood, Head of Sustainability Research and Engagement at Aviva Investors, were both honored as "Rising Stars of Corporate Governance" by the Millstein Center for Corporate Governance and Performance at Yale University.

Ebba Schmidt, Responsible Investment Manager at the UK Pension Protection Fund, has been appointed Chairman of the PRI Fixed Income work stream which had its inaugural meeting in June.

Penny Shepherd, Chief Executive of the UK Sustainable Investment and Finance Association (UKSIF), has been appointed to the UK Government's advisory group for the Green Investment Bank (GIB). The GIB is being set up by the UK Government with the aim to address market failures unlocking significant new private investment into green infrastructure projects.

Nick Silver and Sean Kidney have been appointed members of the UK Government's Capital Markets Climate Initiative (CMCI), which aims to help unlock the private sector’s ability to help meet the $100 billion of new green investment required annually by 2020 to tackle climate change in developing countries.

Cindy Williams. Professor of Law at University of Illinois has joined the Environmental Financial Advisory Board of the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
