As a recent graduate from an MSc in Environmental Ethics from the University of Edinburgh I have a strong academic interest in the subject of responsible investment and ESG research. I am currently an intern at Rathbone Greenbank Investments in their research team.
I have a background in philosophy and always specialised in ethics. In my undergraduate at Cardiff University I was heavily involved in campaigning for the divestment of endowment funds that were invested in fossil fuels. In my MSc at Edinburgh University I adapted this casual interest to inform my postgraduate research. My dissertation focused on the interaction between recent psychological research into the promotion of pro-environmental behaviour and our traditional environmental ethical theories. This combination of the practical the theoretical I found very interesting. I am now an intern at Rathbone Greenbank’s research team.
