Aidan Ward

I am an organisational systems consultant working in a wide range of sectors on problems of organisation and governance.

My first serious engagement with finance and markets was via the Ethics workshops run at the FSA in 2003. Following that I set up a company called Fair Money with, among others, Robin Keyte. In 2009 with some other colleagues I ran a process at the Athenaum where people on the edge of the City looked at the implications of the crash.

I have expertise in several systems methodologies, principally the Viable Systems Model, and system dynamics. Recently I am investigating the uses of Prediction Markets. With my business partner I constructed a model of the operation of a public sector service (actually CAMHS) which can be played as a group game to show how it is impossible to implement the notional policy.
