Cary Krosinsky is an Independent author, editor, advisor and educator on the subject of business, sustainability & investing.
He teaches two seminars at Yale: a Residential College Seminar on Business & Sustainability, and co-teaches a Graduate Seminar on Climate and International Energy within YCEI (Yale Climate & Energy Institute), as well as an MBA class at the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business. He has taught & designed similar courses at Columbia University since 2009 including through a partnership with Kerry Kennedy’s RFK Center for Justice & Human Rights, and has advised to Cambridge’s Investment Leaders Group, with over $20T in assets under management across these groups.
His books include Sustainable Investing: The Art of Long Term Performance and Evolutions in Sustainable Investing. He helped develop the Value Driver Model body of work in late 2013 for the UN Global Compact including a paper, case studies and toolkit, and is co-author in 2014 of A New Vision of Value for KPMG. In 2015, he is lead consultant to PRI on their new Climate Change Asset Owner Project with a first paper out in June and is also consulting to the UNEP Inquiry for the Design of a Sustainable Financial System.
He also oversees and provides content for About.com regarding Sustainable Investing, and acts as Sustainability/ESG Advisor for RLP Wealth Management, Editor of the Journal of Environmental Investing, and is Co-Founder of the Carbon Tracker Initiative.
