Dan Siddy is the founding director of Delsus Limited, a UK-based consulting and advisory firm specialising in sustainable investment strategies for the emerging markets. He has worked on the environmental and social aspects of emerging market finance for over 15 years and has been closely involved in most of the major developments in this field, from the Equator Principles to the launch fof sustainability indices in markets such as Brazil and India. He has also played an inside role in international initiatives such as the Global Compact’s Who Cares Wins program and its evolution into the Principles for Responsible Investment. Prior to forming Delsus in 2006, Dan Siddy spent eight years at IFC (the private sector arm of the World Bank), where he created and led a unique $15 million fund for developing the sustainable finance market in emerging economies.
