Filippa Bergin

In 2011 I founded the company Invest in Change, after working more than 15 years in the field of sustainability. Invest in Change is a house for analysis of and investment in business models, mostly in private consumtion, with a net positive impact on the world. I also work with a family office in creating models for analysis, portfolio management and corporate governance which manage both the risk and opportunities of sustainability. I try to innovate and create to understand the crucial HOW of a prosperous, sustainable future. I apply research for action today.

I am a lawyer by training and have always worked inter-disciplinary to make possible a sustainable world. My work has taken to organisations such as the World Health Organisation, Amnesty International, International Human Rights Law Group, Global Reporting Initiative, the International Institute on Environment and Development and to business in most sectors such as Swedbank, Atlas Copco, and H&M. My last assignment before starting Invest in Change was as the sustainability manager for Axstores, which is a large retail chain in Sweden, similar to Marks & Spencer’s. At the moment I also have engagements in Impact Invest Scandinavia (regional office of Toniic) and SHIFTS – an accelerator for resilient companies.
