Current Activities:

To help preserve the essential function of finance by ensuring that it operates: with the highest ethical intentions, and with an open mind toward new, greater possibilities.

Jason Apollo Voss is Content Director at CFA Institute in New York City.  Across the globe he identifies, curates and creates compelling investment content for the 100,000+ members of CFA Institute.  Jason’s pieces have gained international attention from the likes of Marketplace Business, the Financial Times, Seeking Alpha, and many others.

Prior to joining CFA Institute Voss authored the hedge fund community favorite book, and Book of the Year finalist, The Intuitive Investor: A Radical Guide for Manifesting Wealth.  The book garnered him attention in media as diverse as the Wall Street Journal, Barron’s, Smart Money, the Journal of Private Equity and AskMen.com.  He is proud to have simultaneously been featured in the Wall Street Journal and the New Age Journal.   Jason also wrote the highly regarded investment blog, “What My Intuition Tells Me Now” and was also a featured blogger on Forbes.com.

All of this was made possible by his successful investment career as, first, a research analyst and then as co-Portfolio Manager of the highly successful mutual fund, the Davis Appreciation and Income Fund (DAIF).  During Jason’s tenure the Fund bested the NASDAQ by 77.0%, the S&P 500 by 49.1% and the DJIA by 35.9% and was ranked #1 by Lipper Analytical Services and a perennial Morningstar Analyst Pick.  The DAIF was one of the first ten mutual funds awarded Morningstar’s Stewardship Grade of “A.”

I am interested in the following NSFM-related activities: “Climate Change and Long-Term Investors,” “Commodities and Institutional Investors,” “Fiduciary Duties,” and “Governance and Housekeeping.”
