Pauline Skypala has been editor of FTfm since 2004. She joined the Financial Times in 1999, initially as investment editor on FTyourmoney.com, a personal finance website. In 2001 she moved to the paper, becoming deputy personal finance editor. Prior to joining the FT she was freelance for three years, for the FT, Daily Mail and other publications. Earlier in her career she was editor or deputy editor on a number of financial magazines, such as Money Management and Resident Abroad, and also spent a couple of years as deputy editor of the Money Mail section of the Daily Mail. She has won numerous awards over the years, including the Harold Wincott Award for personal finance journalism and Outstanding Contribution to Institutional Journalism in the annual State Street institutional press awards.
