Sandy Jeanquart Mile is a Professor of Human Resource Management at Murray State University in Murray KY. She earned her doctorate and certifications as a Senior Professional of Human Resources (SPHR) and Global Professional of Human Resources (GPHR) from the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI).

Some of her research has focused on human resource management practices across cultures before focusing on strategic human resource management.  Most notable is her research in the Employee Branding space which has drawn world-wide interest.

She has guided the careers of many students interested in Human Resource Management before a major existed, and worked to develop the program into a major focus, receiving program certificates in 2009 through 2014 from the Society for Human Resource Management.

She held varying leadership positions at the international, state, and local levels.  Most recently I was selected as a U.S. Delegate for the International Organization of Standardization Technical Committee 260 Human Resource Management (ISO/TC 260) from 2011-2013.  I am also the Convener for Work Group 5 on Recruitment, and am on the Advisory Board to the International Chair, as well as a subject matter expert with Work Group 2 on Human Governance.  I also hold several positions within the U.S. Technical Advisory Group (TAG) to ISO/TC 260.

She was also invited to serve on the Editorial Review Board for Business Horizons published by the Kelley School of Business: Indiana University, Bloomington; and a member of the advisory board for the Council of Entertainment Industry Professionals, a national entertainment industry professional organization working toward the greater good through elevation of ethical standards of the entertainment industry.
