I am the Chief Executive of the Social Stock Exchange (SSX) in London — see socialstockexchange.com — which provides a new capital markets venue for equity and bond issuance and secondary trading in the securities of prosocial and sustainable business. Each issuer must articulate a theory of change and report against its progress annually. Our independent Admissions Panel, chaired by John Elkington, is responsible for all listings.
I have spent 20 years and more at the intersection of the internet and market media and stockbroking. I was a co-founder of ESI which became E*TRADE UK. I designed and launched the first online broking services in the UK as well as launching the first bulletin boards in the UK and indeed the first website to publish London market share prices. As CEO of interactive investor I built a scaled execution-only stockbroker and administrator as well as working to improve the access of the general public to the capital markets including IPOs.
Retail buy-side and all aspects of online broking of shares, funds and bonds as well as impact reporting models and strategies for the public markets.
